Lans' second branch in Zeeland

In 2004 Lans constructed two further glasshouses of 5.0 and 3.0 ha glass in the Province of Zeeland, and a third 5.8 ha glasshouse was added in July 2005. These glasshouses, at Bathpolderdwarsweg 1, are also located in Rilland.

In 2006 the branch - formerly called Vesagro 2 - was renamed Lans Zeeland. The glasshouses at Bathpolderdwarsweg 1 are used for the cultivation of Lycanto tomatoes and the renowned high-lycopene tomatoes.

Het bedrijf was tot 2006 bekend als Vesagro 2, inmiddels is Lans Zeeland de benaming. In de kassen aan de Bathpolderdwarsweg 1 worden trostomaten van het type Lycanto en de bekende Lycopeentomaten geteeld.
