Efficient deployment of fertilisers for an optimum crop

The use of fertilisers is optimal because substrate mats are used. The fertilisers are added directly to the irrigation water. A sample is taken and analysed of the water present in the substrate mat to determine which values the fertilisers have. New fertilisers are added based on these values. The tomato plant will have the correct mix of fertilisers and fertilisers are not wasted because of this method is used. If too much water ends up in the gutter with regard to water irrigation, this water will be discharged to the dirty water silo. The water from the dirty water silo is purified and taken back to the clean water silo. From the clean water silo the water is reused for the tomato crop. This ensures that fertilisers do not come into contact with the soil.
